Presentation Description
Mobile together with BYOD, cloud, and IoT marks the formation of a perfect storm in cybersecurity. This cataclysm is changing how we develop products and applications, deliver services, define value and secure information. This presentation will explore these cybersecurity disruptors and challenge you to develop new approaches to secure information in this changing environment. The need to improve how we develop products, services, and applications we be discussed.

Speaker Biography
Dr. Lawrence Dobranski P.Eng., heads up service delivery at Catalone IT Security Inc, a consulting engineering firm specializing in cyber security. He recently served as the University of Saskatchewan’s Director of ICT Security, Access & Compliance, a position he held for just under 5 years. Before joining the U of S, he worked as a consultant, led the product security function at Nortel, and worked for the Canadian Federal Government, all in information security roles.
