Baskaran specializes in helping Financial Services clients on IT Audit, IT Regulatory Compliance, Outsourcing risks, IT Governance, Digital transformation risks and in providing thought leadership on IT Risk Management Audit/Assurance frameworks, methodologies and optimization. Baskaran is also a member of the Faculty at Deloitte University in Toronto and Dallas, TX campuses.
Baskaran has over 34 years of experience of which the last 22 years have been in professional services, preceded by his career in engineering automation. Baskaran is a popular speaker and has authored several technical papers on IT risk management and assurance, presented at conferences and seminars in different parts of the world. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and an MBA. His designations include CISA and CISSP and he was the recent past President of the ISACA Toronto Chapter.
