About the Event:
Your organization generates data every day.  Logs, reports, data entry, and other sources of data.  An organization will remain functional by just creating that data and using it within its business units.  A Business Intelligence team will take that data and turn it into information for decision-makers.  They take an organization from functioning to leading.  This presentation will be an introduction to how you as the manager, director, or owner of a company can gather the people, tools, and data within your organization to design and manage a BI team.

Thomas Boxall has been a Data Scientist and Data Architect for the past 10 years.  He has helped design, build, and manage BI teams for multiple organizations.  Every team has been different but has been best designed to meet the information needs of the organization they serve.  Thomas has been an IT Professional for over 15 years, he has worked on countless projects both locally and internationally.
